Small Group Kayak Tour along Sesimbra - Arrábida Natural Park

Meet us in Sesimbra village for a small group tour along the amazing coastline of the Arrábida Natural Park and let us share our home with you.

Join our intimate group Kayak tour in the beautiful Arrábida Natural Park. Our maximum of five tandem kayaks per group makes it perfect for families or friends. All necessary equipment, including life vests, paddles, water-resistant bags, and comfortable kayak seats, is provided. We'll start the tour in the charming village of Sesimbra, where we'll brief you on paddling techniques and the itinerary. As we paddle along the coast, you'll encounter small caves and passages in the rocks that make for an unforgettable experience. After approximately an hour and a half of paddling, we'll arrive at Ribeiro do Cavalo, one of the most picturesque beaches in the park. Here, we'll take a break to indulge in the stunning scenery.

If you choose, the version with PicNic included, we will provide you with a delicious chicken or veggie baguette sandwich (avocado, lettuce, mushrooms, tomato) and of course, our famous "Farinha Torrada" pastry. Otherwise, you are welcome to bring your own snacks, which can be easily stored in our spacious water bags.

With a tailwind, we'll make our way back to Sesimbra, enjoying the stunning coastal views along the way. This tour is the perfect opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Portugal in a unique and adventurous way. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the breathtaking views of the crystal-clear water and the majestic cliffs.

Participants must be able to swim and be comfortable in open water. This is a sea kayaking activity in a natural environment.
Not suitable for non-swimmers, pregnant women, or people with heart conditions or reduced mobility.
No previous kayaking experience is required — our guides provide a full safety and paddling briefing before departure, with continuous support throughout the tour.
By booking, you confirm that all participants meet these requirements. Failure to disclose an inability to swim or a relevant medical condition may result in exclusion from the activity without refund, for safety reasons.
Our guides reserve the right to refuse participation, at the meeting point or during the activity, to anyone whose safety cannot be assured. In that case, no refund will be due where the cause is non-disclosure of the requirements above.

What to bring

Don’t forget plenty of sunscreen and a bathing suit for the time on the kayak. You can take your belongings along with you on the Kayak to the beach or you can store other belongings with us on the van. We don't have shade on the beach so a t-shirt is always a good option to have with you.

We do not recommend taking any electronic divises with you unless it's waterproof. You can use one of our water resistant bags that will be on the kayaks for small personal items but we can not be responsible for any electronic devices inside those bags during the trip. Sit on top kayak are totally open so water comes in and out of it during all time on the water, so you will be wet on the seat area. Don't forget to bring dry shorts/pants/swimsuit so you are dry on the way back after the kayak.

If you have any type of water shoes you can bring them so you can use them on the beach if you don't feel comfortable with some of the small stones on it but it's not absolutely necessary (not a must bring option).

If you feel the need for a wetsuit (shorty)(free of charge) just let me know your height and weight and we can prepare it for you.
